This might come up (it's a common feature request), if/when proper
property edition support gets done. What's tricky is to make that in a
clean way -- that's not easy.

You can always use the middle connection point to attach a text to a line.
With my upcoming patch, if James accepts it, and if you don't need to have
the semantics of a particular graph, you'll have the SADT annotation to
attach text to a connection point, with a small flash-like line (so that
you can put the text itself where you want). If you want to test it 'as
is', drop me a line.
