You need to have imlib (and imlib-devel if you are using RPMs) installed
on your system.  There are linux packages for it in most distributions
these days, and the source code should be available from
  ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/stable/sources/imlib/

(or one of its mirrors)
