The descriptions are now read from the .sheet files. I have not fully
updated the docs to reflect that. The reason for this choice is that
it makes things easier for translators (they only need to look at the
.sheet files rather than all the .shape files). Also, the translations
for non custom shapes are handled in the .sheet files, so this makes
things more consistent.
