To elaborate on myself, this seems to the case wih all my shapes, and it
is likely related to the errors I'm gettting about being unable to find
particular fonts (helvetica being one)... is the scaling of the shapes
dependent upon particular fonts' aspect ratios? I suppose I should also
mention that I'm using X-Win32 over the network for my X, not XFree and
a windowmanager on the local machine.

I don't have the same problem when I use X-WIndows on the local box - it's
only when I access it using X-Win32. Anybody have any clues as to how I
can get this to work with X-Win32?
