Hello Again,
First I've turned off the Auto-reply receipt features, so now my mails won't
bug you.
After a struggle I was able to make the Dia run on Win98. The problem I was
having is that the dir name C:\home is case-sensitive. I had a dir named
"Home" and Dia doesn't like it. It has to "home".
I would appreciate if somone can include it in the FAQ that dir name is
"case sensitive."
But now when I select Preferences and click on either View Defaults and/or
Grid Lines tab, I get an error message saying,
Gdk-WARNING **: gdkgc-win32.c:934: ReleaseDC failed
And the test of for first few boxes on the above tabs disappears.
I'm running Dia v0.88 on Win 98. I didn't have GTK+ , because I don't use
and have Gimp, so I down loaded the libraries but when I include them , this
problem goes away but then another arises. Now when I start, I get an error
massage about the wmf.dll saying,
Could not load plugin 'C:\Program Files\DIA\wmf.dll
A device attached to the system is not functioning.
The I got the wmf.dll update from the DIA site. But nothing works.
Is this Dia 0.88 stable. Most of us seem to be very happy with it but for
some reason I'm having trouble on Win98.
Any ideas???\
Thanx
Tam
