thanks are owed to those people on the list who pointed out my mistaken
spelling of the web site for mac using educators.
i wrote http;//macusingeducators.com
it should be http:/macusingeducators.com
(note the colon rather than semi colon in the web site address.)
i need to do better checking such syntax before sending an email
to this list. there's no reason to have people go looking for a web site
they can't find.
