Hi Bill, I live in Vermont and have had Verizon DSL for a few years now. I really like their service.
Verizon has committed to providing service to 90% of Vermont in the next 2 years and are aggressively working on it. Not a day goes by where I don't hear someone commenting on Verizon coming to their town. Another option you may want to look at is putting pressure on your local cable company for service.
