Not sure if this is an issue though, but VSCode was just
updated, and the release log says there are breaking changes
for extensions:

That only happens if you upgrade the vscode dependency. Its very
weird right now and I will wait for the next release before
upgrading the extension because there isn't anything new that
code-d needs.
