If you remove "naively" and change "corporation" to "institution" or even
"organization", I would be inclined to agree with you. If you want to do
more research on that, go interview some people from the countries of
Europe who are faced with the threat of an European Union and I think you
will find many who will echo similar sentiments ("We're losing our
individuality", etc.).
