All: Is there any information out there that compares the weak signal capabilities of the average TNC vs soundcard program in RTTY mode?
In casual testing, my KamPlus seems to copy weak signals about the same as the soundcard using MixW and MMTTY. But I'm sure this would vary with different TNC's and other software. To be honest, I like the benefit of being able to use my rigs narrow 500hz filters in contests by using the TNC in FSK mode and it would be nice to use the soundcard in true FSK mode as well.
