I
would very much like to hear from some of you who purchase the kit. Eventually we
should see this on e-ham reviews.
It
appears to be similar to the eastern European products and I would prefer to buy
it from U.S. suppliers. I have corresponded with one well known interfacing
company about producing such a product (Tigertronics), but they seemed to have
little interest. In fact, they could not imagine why anyone would want such a
thing. (I'm serious).
The
one thing that I am hesitant about is how to package it. There are many
connectors that are fastened to the PC board so it would be necessary to have an
enclosure that is custom designed. I don't know if I could make some thing that
would be adequate and I do think that some shielding might be in order.
