-Jim, a common problem for a couple of my rookie friends was that they were trying to transmit at the far edges of their radio's passband, thus the low output. Make sure that in MixW the place you are transmitting is around 1500 Hz (in the waterfall). That may fix the problem. You can use Mixw's "align" command to easily shift a received signal to the 1500 Hz setting.
