Hmmm ... this is easy.  And it's one heck of a lot easier than 
something I considered ... briefly.  That was a FMed oscillator mixed 
with a VFO or crystal oscillator to get to the desired output.  That 
could be icky (another wonderful techie term I love to use) and 
apparently overly complex.

Now this part I know about.  I've got real hands on time with several 
Teletype Corp machines starting with the Model 12 (Morcrum-
Kleinschmidt <G>) and ending with the 28, 32, 33, and 35 which I went 
to school for up in Niles, IL.  The earlier ones I repaired/rebuilt 
for other hams (plus I kept a small collection myself) who were doing 
RTTY or just liked the older machines but figured that since I was at 
Teletype's school I MUST know how to fix their machines too.
