Hi all,

Whoo hoo! It's getting close!

I added the lines you suggested to /etc/directfbrc and I get an OSD!
Excellent!

It's alpha blended, but the alpha channel is wrong (inverted). I xored the
alpha channel in the window code with 0xff in a quick 'get going' attempt to
invert it. This works fine for drawing the OSD, but the global opacity/alpha
channel is still wrong - i.e. I get a blue screen where I should get full
screen video.

Michael - do use the changes that dok suggested - e.g. setting DWOP_NONE
when creating the window, or do you just use the code as is in CVS?

I'm sure there's still some AiRGB/ARGB confusion going on somewhere!!!

I would try and debug it myself, but I've got to go out :-( Is my mistake
something obvious that is easily spottable? :-)

I've got DFB_CLE266_UNDERLAY=1 - otherwise I get no video at all. I have no
directfbrc file, other than one I created with your options in.

Once that works I'll start studying the softmpeg code to see where I can
help out in return!

Thanks for your help once again,

Colin
