Last week i had a chance to install Debian 3.1 on Mac Mini. All went smoothly and i can run DirectFB on it without problems.
Actually with only one problem. Although i use radeonfb for framebuffer console, and it works fine, when i want to run DirectFB versions 0.9.22 and 0.9.23 it always runs with software rasterizer.
I've compiled 0.9.22 with radeon option and 0.9.23 with radeon and r200 options. Unfortunately, it failed to bring up the driver, only software renderer was available.
Video adapter on Mac Mini is a ATI Radeon Yb 9200 with 32 MB ram. fbset works fine, and i can use directfb and gtk-directfb. Only HW accelaration is a problem.
I was wondering what kind of output i can send to list so that you can help me to debug this ?
