I just tried the cvs version and it's dying because
get_deinterlace_method( curmethod ) returns NULL. I think I told you about
this stuff when we were going over the details of this plugin. Looks like
you've added some more of this stuff since it didn't die on startup the
last time I tried it. Maybe tvtime should register a deinterlace plugin
with just a name and description in this case?

Juha, as a quick fix you can set deinterlacing=0 in dfboutput.c.
