after I've successfully got XDirectFB to run and mplayer with "-vo dfbmga" to output the video data to the second head of my G400, I've tried to use mplayer with "-vo directfb" to display any video to my primary display.
Unfortunately, this does not work properly for me. After playing a 16:9 video on my 4:3 monitor, the part were the video window was located is not properly restored. The area stays black and covers the mouse pointer. Only in small bands above and below the video window the window manager is present, so I can at least close the session properly.
I'm using DirectFB from yesterdays CVS and
"MPlayer dev-CVS-030919-20:39-3.2.2 (C) 2000-2003 MPlayer Team". Recent CVS updates for Mplayer did not show any changes to "vo_directfb".
Is there anything I'm doing wrong?
