Any reason why you wouldn't update to 2.6.30 or .31 (which is supposed
to be released the next days)? PXA3xx support has been dramatically
improved over the last releases, so I can only recommend to try out the
lastest and greatest.

Yes. However, it dependes on the system bus 2 clock speed, which might
be different on the pxa310 compared to the pxa303 which we used to
measure the performance. Just give it a try and let us know your
results.
