I am fairly new, too, and I found it sort of disturbing, esp. since this was the second long downtime in a row. Such long downtimes always make me wonder whether the project was abandoned, which is sort of a bad feeling if you're builidng a codebase on top of DFB. Also, I mainly use the online documentation plus forum searches etc. while coding, which means work can actually get delayed. So, is there a mirror for such situations? Otherwise, I would be happy to offer to maintain a mirror, at least of the web content, download directories, etc. It could be either on university server space or on private server space with unlimited traffic. So, if there is a general feeling that there should be a mirror, everybody please say so, esp. the maintainers of directfb.org. Cheers, Roland
