I just tried again, it appears that my exclude-statement appears to be
incorrect - it still looks at .gvfs.
These are my entries:
        /home/chosenone/.gvfs
        /home/chosenone/.gvfs*
rsync_error contain lines like these (for all execution cycles):
        rsync: readlink_stat("/home/chosenone/.gvfs") failed: Permission denied
(13)
        rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous
errors) (code 23) at main.c(1057) [sender=3.0.6]

Anyone willing to correct me?
Also I'm curious about tricking dirvish into thinking it's been successful.
