How did it fail? If it created a "summary" file that contains a
"Status:" line where the status isn't "success", then just edit the
summary file and change it to "Status: success". Then run dirvish
normally (without --init) and it should pick up whatever files were missed.

I often do this, then immediately delete the original backup image
directory, since it's not complete.
