Dear All,

As there do not seem to be any alternative offers beside hosting on github,
how should we proceed ?

- The code already seems to be on github :
https://github.com/thomasvs/dirvish
- The website can also be hosted on github :
https://help.github.com/articles/setting-up-an-apex-domain-and-www-subdomain/
- The wiki needs some work before transfer, especially if we want to keep
the history intact.

I guess somebody (Keith?) needs to setup a github dirvish organization, and
add people who want to help in the transition/take over maintenance in the
future.

This leaves the mailinglist as those do not have a place in github as they
are now.

So, what do people want to do with them ?

As I see it, there are two questions that need answered :
1) What to with the archive ?
2) In what way do we want to interact with users who have questions in the
future ?

On storing the archive :
A quick search turns up Nabble[1], alternatively we could try to convert
the archive to HTML, and add it to the github pages.

On interaction :
As github doesn't have interacting possibilities that aren't related to the
code (issues/pull requests) we have to decide whether dirvish needs those
kinds of interaction.
I think it's usefull for people to get some kind of help, bit I don't know
in which way that should be. Nabble again looks interesting, but maybe
gitter[2] is of more use to people.

Anyway, if somebody sets up a github dirvish organization, I'd like to join
the effort.

Dag,
Jan
