Oh! I was unaware that openapp uses the PATH. In that case, not launching
an app in CWD makes sense. I do find it odd that openapp inspects the PATH,
since the app bundles are not executables by themselves. I do understand
the logic behind it, however, and I'm fine with it.

But to be honest, I was surprised that openapp was a shell script; does it
inspect the Info.plist in the app bundle at all, to determine which
executable to launch?
