Actually, I apologize.  I made a booboo.

ICANN allows us to offer opt-out if we want to, but currently we do not
offer this.  We zip up the whole whois database as is - simple as that.
However, I have been assured that the sources who are getting this
information are NOT responsible for spamming - that would be a breach of
contract for use of this information.

My apologies for the lack of clarity.
