You've just articulated the reasons why OpenSRS is worth the higher price to
you. Those three sentences describe, quite concisely, the "value add" that
OpenSRS brings to the table. For that, they are justified in charging a
higher price.
I think the point is this: OpenSRS is free to set their pricing wherever
they feel they can be competitive. If you don't believe that their pricing
is truly indicative of the value of the "product", then buy elsewhere. You
can certainly comment that you would prefer for the pricing to be different,
but for heaven's sakes, this continual whining about it is just annoying.
The fact of the matter is that OpenSRS has a relatively unique offering,
which commands a premium price.
If you don't feel that you can be competitive reselling domains when the
wholesale price is US$10, then that's not really OpenSRS's problem is it?
And by the way, isn't a little weird to demand that your supplier take less
profit so that you can take more??
