I do not think this argument even approaches bullet proof ... more like
Swiss cheese :D
Because a company is big in no way means that they are responsible in
anyway. There is no correlation that states
big company = responsible company or
big company implies responsible company
I do not see any problems with the current system as it is. An RSP pays 250
and they can get 25 domain years.
Now maybe a credit/reference check might be in order if an RSP wants to
purchase domain on credit. I.e. purchase 250 domain years and then pay at
the end of the month ... etc.

The key is that the customers understand that they are giving you their
trust and can always opt out if they want to. In that case I agree 100%.

true ... that could be reduced if the admin contact has to "approve" the
deletion. i.e. grant the same type of protection that transfer have now.
