Without any lectures for going pro se, and ONLY to those involved can you
reply off list to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

We (SpyProductions) are bearing down on the last few days of being able to
respond to the complaint. If members here can, help me on two questions:

1. I would like to know what tack others have taken in regards to admission
and denials, affirmative defense etc...

2. We understand many registrars are taking a joint response approach,
however I don't know what tack the TUCOWS team is taking. (Brenda is on
holiday Elliot, anybody else you can get to contact us would be great).

However I don't know if RSP's are also being invited to anti up for costs or
if any have already joined in, and if a joint approach is being taken.

SpyProductions feels we should not even be a part of this case and will
lobby to have ourselves removed. Our basic premise for the argument is we
took only unique applications for names. For us it was first come first
served, no duplicates. This alone is reason enough to us but I won't burden
list members with our case.

Fellow list members, this is not a discussion for the list I know, I'm
merely trying to make contact with others that have been unfortunate enough
to have been dragged into this case. In some ways it is backhanded
compliment but the fact is we stated clearly on our site that we were taking
no duplicates yet the legal counsel decided to rope us in and prove our
innocence. That bothers me that the don't have to at least have some sort
of due case or perform some sort of due diligence before naming defendants.

Again, any information would be appreciated.

I won't be upset with any information provided, don't assume we know
everything about this case, I won't consider any help an insult to our
intelligence. As they say, beggars can't be choosey.

Another note: Law requires we reply to every other listed defendant. It was
a pain but we compiled a full (U.S. Post) mailing list of all the
defendants. We couldn't find a couple overseas defendants addresses but
99.9% of the defendants are accounted for. Anyone involved in the suit that
needs a copy of this, I'll be glad to forward it as an attached word
document.

Lars Hindsley
