That's what I am guessing, however, I checked with Hotmail and the email is still valid but that may not really indicate anything... It expires shortly so we will see if it gets renewed ;)

As for the soup, I thank Potato has been one of my favorites for years, however I noticed that it still does not appear in the who is record.  I did read where it is going to be mandatory for a DNA sample to be sent in for registrations starting in 2005......

If you were to provide a challenge against the domain name, wouldn't you win by default if the owning party isn't present due to lack of notification due to misinformation in the WHOIS database?

Speaking of favorite soup, I'm a real fan of clam chowder.

While it is mandated it is often missing.

There is nothing to stop a domain owner from removing or providing false the information once they have access to the control panel.

And this is like everything else about ICANN, it is mandated but not enforced.

Then the idiots who provide false or incomplete information complain when they do not receive renewal information and lose the domain.  :(

ICANN mandates up to date and accurate information listed in the whois, including (but not limited to) name, address, email, pant size, and favourite soup
