Well first of all, when somebody say that OSRS needs to do this , OSRS
needs to implement this - There is no ICANN requirement for those
additions; even if OSRS will do something it will have additional costs
associated with it. Those costs could be big enough to make OSRS pass
those costs to resellers. As result not all resellers will agree to pay
additional costs for the same service. They'll tell that most of their
customers are not concerned with publicity of their private info.
Second. In the case of UDRP or other legal proceeding real owner,
names, and contact information is being given with no exceptions to
court/board/arbitration body.
Third. "Some one suffers because they registered .com 5 years ago.
Recently (3 years ago) another person/company/organization registered
the same domain with .net [or .org] extension. This
person/company/organization is doing business in another field than
.com registrant. We think tat it was done in bad f..... and therefore
must be returned to .com registrant!"
It is called DUE DILIGENCE !
How you can suffer from something you never had.
You had an option to register it 5 years ago,
but you were so cheap that decided not pay for it!?
You copy/r (TM) owner must protect your self.
There is sunrise period for every new .something.
What? You took no action in this period?
Then how you can claim that you have something good in mind and
spread lies that another registrant (who found not registered domain
and registered it) did it to obtain your money/market share/ or
something elese!??????
I totaly agree with this (keep in mind it could cost extra to get it)
