Going off topic, what IS with Sympatico anyhow. It's been more than 10 days I think, although I didn't make a note of when I got the big increase in support calls. Everyone is whining about not being able to send their emails out. I remind them that there isn't much we can do about it since Sympatico forces them to use their mailservers instead of ours as they block port 25. Still, it seems kind of surprising that they have not resolved whatever issues there are by now. Even those customers who know and understand it is not our problem are still phoning 'just in case' or to at least unload their frustrations on a sympathetic ear.
If anyone has any idea of when things will improve (i.e. you might have spoken to a senior support person at Sympatico) and can let me know that would be much appreciated (offlist is fine). Thankfully, I don't use their service myself.
