Hi all.

I hear you. I will look into the option without javascript and let you know. Know, it provides the ability today to pure html if they decide to leave (but at a fee) so they can move elsewhere if desired.

I agree that we all want to keep customers for the right reasons, being that you are providing them with the right tool that satisfies their needs. This tool evolves as new features come on board they are motivated to stay as well, continuing their relationship with you.

I'll do some investigation and update you shortly.

The reason this is done is so that an end user
can't easily transport their site and use another editor.
The source (as you have seen) is not easily readable by someone using
another editor (frontpage or whatnot),
so they are motivated to continue to use the tool, and stay with you
as a vendor.

That's a terrible reason and seems very out-of-character for Tucows.
Isn't this the type of practice that we complain about when other
registrars make it difficult to switch?

If people are only remaining as a customer for a reason like this,
then the relationship has already soured beyond repair -- and this
will make it worse. It's a little insulting that you think we need to
trap customers into remaining our customers.

I was excited about the posibilities with this product but I don't
think I can use this. Any possibility of coming up with a version that
produces nice easily-readable standard HTML?
