Sounds a lot to me like we have a huge backlash on our hands with this one people.
Tucows: We sell you product, we like the existing way things are done. - if you want us to use another tool to discuss your products which we sell, then there is going to be many who will not even read, let alone discuss. My vote says - mailing lists are betterer and due to time constraints, they are the only way I can actively read/follow the discussions - web pages are a waste of time. nntp is too much of a pain in the backside to set up and use.
