People are trying to find ways to collaborate. Due to restrictions around code adoption due to licensing, the Apache codebase naturally becomes an upstream source. It isn't a proclamation, but a hope. But hey... nobody is *forcing* another into anything. So I find your attitude strange. The overall community is going to move forward and develop. I think it is a great thing to see people trying to look forward to what that means.
