I don't know if it's mentioned already, in that case I just missed it,
or if it's even relevant, but what Java are you running?
From the LibreOffice home page:
”If you run Linux, the GCJ Java variant has known issues with
LibreOffice, we advise to e.g. use OpenJDK instead.”
