The probable release path would be:
* View documents;
* Export to PDF, etc.
* Edit Text documents;
* Edit Spreadsheets;
* Edit Drawings;
* Edit Presentations;
* Edit Databases;
* Edit Math, if not done as part of either text documents or spreadsheets;

Thus, whilst the initial release might not be on a par with the desktop
version, the fifth or so release should be.

There are already a dozen other players in that space.  As such, the
addition of two or three more players won't, per se, increase competition.

Probably because within the US at least, there is no business case to
use, or adhere to ISO Standards, when it comes to file formats.
