Concerning libwps as I do not have any way to launch the latest
versions of Microsoft Works for PC, also having
some files converted in pdf will be clearly better….
I would assume you'd be able to run works on wine. Found someone who
thinks they may have an old laptop with it on it, so if you could
tell me what kind of samples you need, i could have him create them.
Yes, I have already used dos/wine emulation to launch some oldest
versions of Microsoft Works
but not the latest versions, mainly by lack of time, motivation and
because I am not sure that I can really
consider that the newest versions of Microsoft Works are abandonware …
Well i think version 6 to 9 maybe the ones to focus on as MS Office can
produce that version of works files. I checked version 9 compatibility
on wine and it was rated silver in the end of 2012, so i assume any
other versions should run smoothly.
