Looking to get more involved in Students for Free Culture? Thinking of running for the Board in the upcoming election? Have some cool ideas for how the global org can do things better?
In order to take the next step in our growth as an organization, we're hoping to get a lot more volunteers at the global organizational level. We need people to help out with connecting with and welcoming new chapters, planning and implementing campaigns (document freedom day is right around the corner and the board is embarrassingly unprepared because we've been so busy with post-conference work), keeping our microblog up to date and getting fresh content on our main blog, streamlining our website content, etc etc. If you have an idea for something you'd like to take over or start and own, we'd love to help you do that (and if you want, we can give you a title and list you at http://freeculture.org/about). If you're not sure what you want to do but want to indicate that you're down to help anyway, that would also be totally awesome, and we'd help you find a role or an ad-hoc task to pick up.
