Hey Peter,

Thanks for reaching out! NYU does have a free culture chapter that is
active! They're meeting today at Kimmel Room 914 from 7:30pm-9:30pm. If I'm
not mistaken, I think they meet every Monday. I'll be joining the meeting
today, so if you're available, we should meet up and talk in person!

Starting a chapter at NYU Law is a great idea. It's a fantastic opportunity
to get knee deep in the trenches of intellectual property law and tech law
and policy. It's also a nice way to raise awareness amongst the doctrinal
sticklers that often swarm law schools! I'm happy to talk to you more about
starting a chapter via phone or skype.

On a related note, SFC is having its annual conference at New York Law
School on April 20-21st! You should come to the conference, meet other SFC
folks and listen to some awesome talks! You can register to go to the
conference her

find out more information about the conference
here. <http://www.fcx2013.org>

See you tonight, hopefully,
Jennifer
