Hey Peter, I used to be part of the NYU FC chapter - we're not good at keeping up our Twitter/website (it's been a long-standing project) but we are pretty active, and I think we can claim to be the longest running FC chapter with no interruptions. I've cc'd one of the current FC NYU members if you have any more questions.
I'll also note that we generally haven't had a "separate" NYU Law chapter in the past - we'd love it if you could contribute to the NYU chapter, and bring other law school students with you! We've been pretty law-focused in the past (though it swings depending on the year) in our main chapter, so I'm sure it has cross-appeal.
