If I understand your concern correctly, the plan is simply to merge the
freedomdefined.org wiki with the freeculture wiki with consultation from
Wikimedia and the folks behind the Open Hardware Definition.

This would imply that the FCF endorses those definitions, but not that
anyone who uses those definitions endorses or joins up with all of FCF.
