In the AJAX-loaded files, stick the styles (and any javascript) into BODY, rather than HEAD. IE seems to strip HEAD from any AJAX-loaded content. I came across this "quirk" myself and it drove me nuts!

Interestingly, the individual files, ajax-test.html and ajax-test2.html, display correctly in IE. The text wraps around the image as expected. Could jquery be introducing this problem?
