earlier today I cut the first alpha release of what will become PowerTOP
2.0.
if you haven't seen what PowerTOP 2.0 will be, see the screenshots etc

You can grab the alpha release at

I'd like to ask everyone who's interested to give it a spin and give
feedback on how you like the new design,
and if there's features that are missing that you'd really like....
Also, the translation facilities are still somewhat primitive, I'll need
to take a deeper look at that before this can become the 2.0 final...
