What is going on with illumos mailing lists?

Do you know of any way to install on a system with this CPU?
I had OI installed on 32-bit CPU (was some Intel laptop) at least I
remember it was a3 updated to a7 and i think I also had a8 (and Hipster
after that).
So it is possible (you can boot Live DVD and see how it is working
before install),
but bare in mind that illumos as a whole looks to retire 32-bit CPU
support in some recent time,
but right now, it should work. (post your error messages during install
on openindiana-discuss mailing list etc.).
What does "quits" mean here, simply hangs? If it's indeed the case,
try booting with -kv kernel flags, to see where exactly it does hang.
It's possible that the problem is NOT in being 32bit, but eg having
some weird H/W (or driver for that H/W misbehaving).
