NCA is Network Cache Accelerator.

I'm thinking this is currently defunct software, that has long since been
made obsolete by sendfile().

However, I could be proven wrong; I'd be curious to know if anyone finds
these bits useful anymore. (NCA was invented back in the early part of
the last decade, IIRC. Solaris 8 update 5, I think)

Caveats with NCA. 1) You don't want to run it except on a dedicated web
server; it caches in the kernel. 2) It only works in the global zone. 3)
It may not work with all web servers (e.g. nginx?) Those two caveats make
it seem unlikely to be widely useful in modern deployments, at least from
my thinking.

Anyway, I'd appreciate hearing back from anyone currently finding this
software useful.
