Hello.
I'd like to update nss and nspr in OI Hipster. However, several illumos
components depend on it.
I've updated mozilla-nss to 3.16.5 and mozilla-nspr to 4.10.7 locally.
Recompiled illumos-gate (made usual and debug+lint build). Haven't seen
warnings from nightly
besides usual openssl-related.
The dependent components seems to be
pkg:/system/network/nis (/usr/lib/libnisdb.so),
pkg:/print/lp (/usr/lib/libprint.so),
pkg:/system/library (/usr/lib/libldap.so),
pkg:/SUNWcs (pktool has nss backend).
First of all, I see that these nss/nspr versions are used in OmniOS.
So, I'd like to ask if you had to patch illumos-gate while updating
nss/nspr?
I've tested pktool a bit. At least, I still can read and export
certificates
from mozilla certmod.db after updating nss/mpr and rebuilding
illumos-gate.
Do you have any ideas, how to test nss/nspr update?
