Hi, I recently stumbled upon a ridiculous situation. For some reasons we need to setup some XStreamOS distros onto a provider's VMware infrastructure. The provider obviously includes windows and linux machines out of the box. Once we asked them to have our own illumos distro, they required us various informations. The reason is that they usually buy a valid windows license for you, or buy a valid linux license for you if required. In this case they were looking for illumos/XStreamOS licensing, checking not to get into trouble with anyone. Guess what? They want to talk with Oracle and check if they can let us do it. ???????????????????!!!!!!! Did you ever have a problem like this??? How should I face this? What should I expect Oracle to answer them? Thanx as always, Gabriele.
