Hi Linda, Illumian is exactly I'm looking for, Illumos kernel and everything else as much like Debian as is practical. I'd suggest you try to associate Illumian with Illumos as much as possible.
Is there a release eta btw? Will the feature's joyent has released be incorporated (KVM + IO throttling for zones)?
