Common things that would break:
- CPU/Memory FMA (whether that requires real work or not varies, but
it probably does)
- power/CMT-aware dispatch (if anything about the new CPU changes
the number of levels in the topology, or causes an invariant of ours
to no longer
hold, which AMD tend to do, but intel don't)
