It boots, but the onboard SAS ports are not supported *yet*. Work is underway
to address that.
I assume that support for the Intel SAS ports is a whole new
development since Sun seemed to depend entirely on LSI SAS hardware.
How is such current Illumos development known about and managed? For
example, is someone at Intel (or a contractor) doing this work or is
it being done for free in spare time by a volunteer?
