Bought a couple of them them (X9DRW-7TPF+), caveats:
*) only 2 out of 6 PCI-e slots work (those attached to CPU0).
*) 2208 doesn't have IT firmware, so it's HW RAID only (I'm running my
rpool on HW RAID-1 for simplicity of replacement).
Other than that, I'm happy. The on-board Intel 82599 10GE NICs and 24
DIMM slots were the crucial bits for my application (dual-headed iSCSI
storage box).
